Wraparound Care
Long Clawson Primary School offer a wraparound care service to our pupils during term time. The club is run by staff members in the morning and by a sporting coach and staff member after school. Our aim is to provide a fun and engaging club that the children enjoy attending.
The breakfast club is open from 8am Monday to Friday and includes a nutritional breakfast. After school club is open until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Children can be collected at either 4.30pm or 5.30pm.
We are fortunate to benefit from a qualified sports coach. This coaching is provided by Inspire+ and they run sports clubs such as running, football, netball, ball skills, hockey etc. We change the clubs on a termly basis to offer a variety of sporting activities and to suit different age groups. Children attending the after school club can chose to take part in the sports club or they can do another activity with our member of staff.
Times & Prices
Breakfast Club 8.00am – 8.45am £5.00 (includes breakfast of fruit, cereal or toast)
After school Club 3.30pm – 4.30pm £3.50
3.30pm – 5.30pm £7.00
Drop off and collection
Children should be dropped off, or collected from, the main school building. For afterschool club, if the weather is very poor and does not allow for outdoor sports activities, then parents should collect their children from Garton Hall instead.
Booking and Payments
Parents should email the school office on office@longclawson.leics.sch.uk with the sessions they would like to book, a month in advance by no later than the 20th of each month. Payment must be made in advance of the month booked.
Where parents require any of the sessions on an ad hoc basis the school office should be notified by email as soon as possible. For any same day or next day bookings please follow up the email with a call to the office on 01664 822337 to ensure the request has been received and passed on to the appropriate member of staff.
Payments for ad hoc sessions will be added to our online School Monies payment system.
For our Pupil Premium children, discounts are available. Please speak to the office to find out more details. This will be in complete confidence.
