We are delighted to share our recent inspection report. 

Please find below our most recent Ofsted reports and relevant information from the Department for Education Performance Tables. 

The school inspected on the 3rd and 4th February 2025 with a full inspections, and previously in 27 November 2018, and prior to that in January 2015, and the school continues to be be a good school. 

Here are some extracts from the current report:-

Long Clawson Church of England Primary School is much loved by pupils, staff and parents and carers.

They feel happy and safe and say their teachers are ‘amazing’. Parents unanimously appreciate the school’s nurturing approach. One parent’s comment, which is typical of many, was, ‘The school is the beating heart of village life.’

Teachers have secure subject knowledge. The school has mapped out the curriculum with care, including how to meet the needs of pupils in mixed-age classes. Across all subjects, the important knowledge that pupils need to know and remember is clearly identified.

The school is highly ambitious that all pupils will become confident and fluent readers.

Staff are rightly proud to work at the school. They are well supported, and their workload and well-being are given the consideration they deserve.

We also received our SIAMs (RE) inspection in March 2022, where we were again judged to be 'Good'.
